Bubble Waffles - A New Age

A phenomenon completely new to me - a bubble waffle. This gooey bit of goodness caught my eye whilst trawling through the food courts of Shoreditch (always the best way to spend ones day), and I couldn't resist.
You can find this afternoon delight at a little Thai stall 'Nosteagia'. They also sell the more well-known 'bubble tea' so if that's your thing that's one more reason to head down there.
As irresistible as these look however, I must admit that there's not much difference between these and your more traditional waffle, except for being lighter in consistency. One tip - dig in straight away. Once they start to cool they do lose their allure.
So if you fancy a cheeky mid-day treat, head down to Shoreditch to give these a try. And at only 3.50 a pop, not a difficult choice.
